  • Roster, train, and maintain a workforce always ready to respond to international emergencies
  • Deploy trained multidisciplinary teams of public health experts
  • Provide immediate and sustained staffing for international emergency responses
  • Collaborate with local, national, regional, and international partners in response to global health threats
  • Provide trained “surge” capacity to subject matter experts across CDC
  • Build capabilities in countries focused on workforce development and personnel deployment
