- Support CDC experts in responding to health threats around the world
- Roster, train, and maintain a workforce always ready to respond to international emergencies
- Deploy trained multidisciplinary teams of public health experts
- Provide immediate and sustained staffing for international emergency responses
- Collaborate with local, national, regional, and international partners in response to global health threats
- Provide trained “surge” capacity to subject matter experts across CDC
- Build capabilities in countries focused on workforce development and personnel deployment
