2019 Novel Coronavirus

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is working closely with partners worldwide to respond to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that has now been detected in over 100 countries. CDC is aggressively responding to COVID-19 through the development of pandemic preparedness and response plans and working on multiple fronts to prepare communities to respond to this public health threat. CDC Marks the End of the 2018 Ebola Outbreak in Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo

The DRC Ministry of Health (MOH) and the World Health Organization (WHO) announced the end of the Ebola Virus Disease (Ebola) outbreak in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) that national and international response partners have been fighting since August 2018.
