Ebola Outbreak Updates
CDC continues to support the Ministries of Health in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Guinea.
- In DRC, the 90-day enhanced surveillance period that began following the end of the outbreak continues.
- In Guinea, the 42-day countdown to the end of the outbreak began on May 8. The Agence Nationale de Sécurité Sanitaire reports that as of May 26, 10,833 people have been vaccinated since the start of the outbreak.
