Dr. Linkins speaks: In 2001, CDC joined with four other global partners: WHO, UNICEF, the American Red Cross and the UN Foundation, and created what we call the Measles and Rubella Initiative.

Dr. Linkins speaks: Together, we estimate that we save somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 and a half million children from dying from measles.
