COVID-19 Science Update
Scientific information can drive meaningful improvements in people’s health and plays a crucial role to protect the public from COVID-19. Every day, new research and scientific studies are released to help understand COVID-19. Given the large amount of information, it can be difficult to keep up with the latest research.
To inform the public health response to COVID-19, the Office of the Chief Medical Officer for CDC’s COVID-19 emergency response collaborates with the CDC Office of Library Science and the CDC COVID-19 response Chief Health Equity Officer Unit to create the COVID-19 Science Update.
As of December 18, 2021, CDC has stopped production of the weekly COVID-19 Science Update.

The WHO COVID-19 Database cites literature on COVID-19, updated daily (Monday through Friday) from searches of bibliographic databases, hand searching, and the addition of other expert-referred scientific articles. This database represents a comprehensive multilingual source of current literature on the topic.
