COVID-19 Science Update

COVID-19 Science Update Heading

Scientific information can drive meaningful improvements in people’s health and plays a crucial role to protect the public from COVID-19. Every day, new research and scientific studies are released to help understand COVID-19. Given the large amount of information, it can be difficult to keep up with the latest research.

To inform the public health response to COVID-19, the Office of the Chief Medical Officer for CDC’s COVID-19 emergency response collaborates with the CDC Office of Library Science and the CDC COVID-19 response Chief Health Equity Officer Unit to create the COVID-19 Science Update.

As of December 18, 2021, CDC has stopped production of the weekly COVID-19 Science Update.
