Library Services for CDC Field Staff

Your Library is committed to providing information services and resources to all CDC staff, regardless of their location. Contact us with any questions or requests for information.

CDC Field Staff with Intranet or CITGO access (via key fob) will be able to access library resources on the CDC Intranet, at: http://library.cdc.gov

Access electronic resources by visiting the library e-resource page at: http://library.cdc.gov/frame.php?cat=5⊂=3
Request a literature search by clicking the link to “Request a Literature Search” and filling in the e-mail form.
Request copies of articles and books by going to “DocExpress” and filling in the request form.
Use all other library services available from the library website at:
http://library.cdc.gov

CDC Field Staff without access to the Intranet may:

Request a literature search by sending an e-mail to cdclibrary@cdc.gov. Describe your search topic in a sentence, but also include additional suggested keywords, the years to be searched, any limitations (English only, Humans only), whether you’d like a broad or narrow search, and when you need the search results.
Request copies of articles and books by filling in the external request form at: www.cdc.gov/library/DErequestform.html or contacting the library by e-mail or phone.
Request copies of articles while searching PubMed, by using the Loansome Doc (Send to Order) service. This service is available worldwide and requires a one-time signup before placing requests (so that your requests are automatically routed to the CDC Library). Contact us for complete instructions, if you’d like to utilize Loansome Doc.
