Many patients with ME/CFS are affected by comorbid conditions with symptoms that may overlap or worsen those caused by ME/CFS. These conditions should be treated according to best clinical practices and available recommendations and in a way that does not worsen ME/CFS symptoms. Common comorbidities include:
