Women's Health and Pregnancy to be highlighted at CDC National Safe Motherhood Summit
WHAT:A national summit of 300 leaders in women's and maternal health will feature reports on illness and death related to pregnancy. Other reports focus on women's health before, during and after labor and delivery. Special plenary sessions feature perspectives on racial/ethnic disparities, demographics of motherhood, and strategies that could lead to reducing maternal deaths and pregnancy complications in the United States.
