CDC's Terrorism Preparedness: One Year Later

WHAT:
CDC terrorism experts will brief media on how CDC has prepared the nation since September 11, 2001. Some of the issues to be covered include anthrax, smallpox, chemical terrorism, radiation emergencies, workplace issues and grants to the states.

In addition, three MMWR issues will contain terrorism preparedness articles and telebriefings will be held on September 5, 6 and 12th. Media advisories will be sent the day prior with more information about each MMWR and dial-in numbers.
