Tentative CDC press briefing, Today, 1 p.m.

WHO: Anne Schuchat, Director, National Center for Immunizations and
Respiratory Diseases, CDC

WHAT: Tentative press conference on the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommendations regarding the vaccine for human papillomavirus (HPV).

The ACIP will be discussing HPV during its morning session. If the committee provides recommendations regarding the vaccine, CDC will host a media briefing to provide updates on the recommendation and implications.

Media who plan to attend the conference in person are asked to register at www.cdc.gov/nip/ACIP/dates.htm.
