Telebriefing on Results from the National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey (NISVS)
WHAT
CDC will host a media telebriefing to discuss the first set of results from the national intimate partner and sexual violence survey developed by CDC’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, in collaboration with the National Institutes of Justice (NIJ), and the Department of Defense. This data will help inform public policies and prevention strategies at both the national and state levels and will help guide and evaluate progress toward reducing the substantial health, social, and economic burdens associated with intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and stalking.
