CDC to Host Second Weight of the Nation Conference to Address Obesity

Weight of the Nation Conference
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will host its second Weight of the Nation conference, designed to provide a forum to highlight progress in the prevention and control of obesity through policy, systems and environmental approaches to help advance healthy eating and active living. Panelists will include Cynthia Ogden, PhD, MRP, senior epidemiologist, CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics; Sam Kass, Assistant Chief and Senior Policy Advisory for Healthy Food Initiatives at the White House, and Justin Trogdon, PhD, MA, health economist with RTI International, Public Health Economics Program.
