Telebriefing on U.S. Adult Vaccination Rates

What

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will host a telephone-only media briefing Tuesday, January 29, to provide up-to-date figures on the number of adults in the U.S. who receive recommended vaccines other than the influenza vaccine.

There are nearly a dozen vaccines recommended for people age 19 and older—in addition to influenza—to protect adults from vaccine-preventable diseases including pneumococcal disease, whooping cough, and shingles.
