CDC Director, Medical Experts Address 2015-2016 Flu Outlook at NFID News Conference

What
Tom Frieden, M.D., M.P.H., director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, joined by other leading medical and public health experts, will discuss preparing the public for the coming flu season at a news conference presented by the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID). Dr. Frieden will announce final influenza vaccination coverage estimates for the 2014-2015 season.
VISUAL/PHOTO: Dr. Frieden will be vaccinated against influenza and urge everyone to protect themselves, their families and friends, their colleagues and their communities against influenza.
Representatives from other leading public health and medical organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Nurses Association, the National Minority Quality Health Forum, and Families Fighting Flu will be available to provide context for the data for specific populations.
