Heart attacks and strokes are catastrophic, life-changing events that are all too common. Over 800,000 cardiovascular events happened in adults ages 35-64 in 2016. The Million Hearts® initiative has a bold but attainable goal of preventing one million heart attacks and strokes by 2022.
