What will I be able to do with the new visualization tool? How can it help me?

The new Community Counts data visualization tool displays de-identified data on patients with bleeding disorders who are enrolled in Community Counts in a new interactive, visual format.

The tool can be used to:

  • Access real-time data
  • Identify the number of participants in Community Counts by bleeding disorder
  • Discover facts such as the proportion of people with a bleeding disorder
  • Break down specific relationships (for example, von Willebrand Disease by age)
  • Share new insights and findings

Who can use this new tool?

This new tool can be used by anyone. Clinicians, patients, and policymakers may use this tool to:

  • Assess characteristics of patients with bleeding disorders.
  • View demographics of patients with bleeding disorders.
  • Understand the burden of bleeding disorders in the United States.

How do I use this tool?

When you access the tool, you will see the following:

  • Community Counts: Click on this tab and it will take you to a description of the surveillance program.
  • HTC Population Profile: Click on this tab and it will take you to the HTC Population Profile reports.
  • The Registry:  Click on this tab to view patient demographics and clinical characteristics. Treatment views will be available at the end of the year.
