Lead Poisoning Prevention – Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention – financed partially by Prevention and Public Health Funds

Program period: September 30, 2017–September 29, 2020

Fourteen state and local programs were awarded approximately $4 million in FY 2017 funding for lead poisoning prevention programmatic activities. These awards are in addition to the approximately $11 million in continuation awards made to 35 state and local programs [PDF – 123 KB] funded in FY 2017 under PPHF.

CDC provided a supplement [PDF – 332 KB] to enhance childhood lead poisoning prevention activities related to four key program strategies that are within the scope of CDC-RFA-EH17-1701 (Project period: September 30, 2018 to September 29, 2019).

CDC provided a one-time supplement [PDF – 212 KB] and extended the current period of performance from September 30, 2020 to September 29, 2021 for recipients previously awarded under CDC-RFA-EH17-1701: Lead Poisoning Prevention – Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention.
