NIOSH, in collaboration with the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration, and the University of Pittsburgh, would like to invite you to a meeting to help set the agenda for the upcoming 4th Annual NIOSH Mine Automation and Emerging Technologies Health and Safety Partnership meeting. We are excited to hold this agenda-setting meeting face-to-face in Denver during the 2023 SME Annual Conference and Expo on Tuesday February 28th from 3:30-5pm at the Denver Convention Center, room 206 (SME conference registration is not required to attend this meeting).
All are welcome to attend and please bring your ideas for topics and discussions regarding mine automation health and safety for the next full meeting coming this fall. - Welcome and introductions
- Overview of the NIOSH Mine Automation and Emerging Technologies Health and Safety Partnership
- Recap of the September 2022 partnership meeting
- Brainstorming session for topics at the next partnership meeting
- Possible dates, location, and format
- Summary of priority topics and wrap-up
