Subject: Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR) Concept Paper

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory (NPPTL) is soliciting comments on a concept paper for PAPR performance requirements. The concept paper is provided as an attachment to this letter. Comments on this concept paper will be accepted through March 28, 2008. Reference Docket Number 008 for all submissions related to this topic. Interested persons or organizations are invited to participate in this process by submitting written views, arguments, recommendations, and data. Comments are invited on any topic related to this concept paper.

Comments submitted by e-mail or mail should be addressed to the “NIOSH Docket Officer” and should identify the author(s), return address, and a phone number, in case clarification is needed.
