Subject: The National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory is holding a public meeting on Thursday, September 17, 2009

Topics that will be discussed are respirator standards development projects for:

  1. Supplied-Air Respirators (SAR)
  2. Air-Fed Ensembles
  3. Total Inward Leakage (TIL) Test for Respirators Other than Filtering Facepiece and Half Mask

The location of this meeting is the Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport, 1111 Airport Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15231. Registration will begin at 7:45 AM with the meeting starting at 8:30 AM. Interested parties should make hotel reservations directly with the hotel by calling 800-233-1234 before the room cut-off date of September 2, 2009. You must reference the NIOSH room block to receive the special group rate of $114 per night.

This meeting will also be available via Live Meeting Conferencing. This service provides remote access capability for participants to listen in and view the presentations over the internet simultaneously. Remote participants will have the opportunity to ask questions during the open comment period. This option will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis and is limited to 50 participants.
