Netting for Shade
ERGONOMIC INTERVENTIONS IN SHIPYARDS
Hazard: Working inside blocks situated outside in the shipyard exposes workers to high environmental temperatures.
Solution: Green netting on poles (see photo) can be lowered to shade the blocks from direct exposure to sunlight reducing the ambient temperature for workers inside the block.
