The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced a senior-level vacancy for Director of CDC’s National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).

Mandatory qualifications for the position are:
- Progressively responsible experience that reflects in-depth knowledge of the principles applicable to occupational safety and health, including at least one year of specialized experience in a relevant field equivalent to the GS-15 level.
- Responsible experience indicating national professional stature in any of the sciences relevant to occupational safety and health research.
The closing date for applications is August 18, 2001.
