Vaccine-specific coverage among children 19-35 months, National Immunization Survey, 1994-2014.

This is a line graph showing the estimated percent of U.S. children 19-35 months vaccinated with nine different vaccines (1+ MMR, 3+ DTP/DTaP, 3+ Polio, 3+ Hib, 3+ HepB, 1+ Varicella, 4+ PCV, Rotavirus, and 2+ HepA) during the period 1994 to 2014. Some vaccines (HepA, HepB, Varicella, and Rotavirus) were not available or not recommended during the entire time span covered by the graph. The lines for these vaccines enter the graph at the point at which they became available and were recommended as part of the routine vaccination schedule. For DTaP, MMR, and Polio, coverage estimates are consistently around 90% throughout the time period. Varicella coverage has been close to 90% since about 2004. Hib coverage started at around 90% in 1994 and dropped sharply in 2009 due to a shortage of vaccine. Coverage increased when the shortage resolved but has not yet returned to pre-shortage levels. Coverage for HepA, HepB, and Rotavirus has increased over time and is now in the 60-80% range.
