All Early Career PMR/F residents and fellows are assigned to a federal, state, or local government agency in the U.S. Early Career residents and fellows entering the program with state or local public health experience are assigned to federal health agencies while those with experience in federal public health are placed in state or local public health agencies. This placement method helps provide a balanced exposure to different levels of governmental public health.
