How WBDOSS works. Waterborne disease outbreaks are reported using the NORS system, which then goes into the Waterborne Disease and Outbreak Surveillance System (WBDOSS). The Data is analyzed and then published out with MMWR Surveillance Summaries or other publications. This then informs policies, interventions, applied research and promotion. Then better waterborne disease prevention is hopefully achieved.
