Among the 3,161 participants in the Registry, 94% (n = 2,974) received care at a primary HTC location, 8% (n= 246) received care at an HTC outreach clinic, and 1% (n=34) received care at an HTC telemedicine session or clinic (Table 5A).

In 2014, the mean number of days missed from school or work due to the bleeding disorder was approximately three days (range 0-220 days) among the 59% (n=1863) of the Registry participants eligible for this question (Table 5B).  The mean number of emergency room (ER) visits was two (range 1-30); 23.4% (n=741) of the Registry participants reported ER visits in the last 12 months. The mean number of inpatient admissions due to the bleeding disorder was 1.6 (range 1-20) with an approximate mean stay of seven days (range 1-90) in the hospital once admitted.
