Objectives
By the end of this module, participants will be able to:
- understand the importance of coding;
- understand the importance of good clinical description and documentation for accurate coding;
- describe advantages and disadvantages of the ICD-10 and ICD-10 RCPCH extension;
- identify critical issues for coding.
